I'm creating an HTA with vbscript and I want to prompt the user to choose to either enter a machine name manually, in which case a text box is presented or browse machines names in which case a populated list box is presented. I've got the code for the text box and the list hta but I don't know how to prompt in the Options for the choice and then present the text box or list box depending on the users selection. I still have a slight problem hta out the testing of which control exists on the form, but you should be able to nut it out I hta have time right now. I have commented out some of the registry bits while I was testing, so just uncomment those again, and it should be OK. Dim strHTML, strOptions, strComputers, arrComputers, intCount. Hmm, very close but something screwy is happening when it loads the options names from type domian, it's only partially grabbing a small percentage of the accounts registered in the domain. Maybe input using the FQDN of your domain, instead of just LEGC. FQDN didn't work, perhaps because it's input NT domain, however when I reran the script today it fully populated the machine names for the domain, so maybe there was something screwy options on with the Type or my PC options day, it's running fine today though hta congratulations, the points go to you. As I mentioned, the only other issue type I had, was with the IsObject check for the Text box or List box, which would throw up an error if you "changed your mind" a few times by click Text, List, Text, List.
